Mission Statement & Goals
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to provide a ministry to single adults which fosters community and individual wholeness through a healthy, thriving relationship with God & each other; and to make a real difference in our city through outreach to the community.
Goals:
BAF Singles Ministry consistently ministers to and with single and single-again people. These people happen to be single by chance, change, or choice (theirs or someone else's). Whether they are never married, formerly-married, widowed, or single-parent, the goals of this ministry are:
1. To provide opportunities to build and improve our walk and relationship with Christ.
2. To provide opportunities of ministry to the single adult where they are at ... to give and receive unconditional love.
3. To provide opportunities of outreach ministry to our community and make a real difference in our city; as well as collaborate with other ministries within our walls (The M.O.B., Janes, & element) and those outside of our walls that we can serve alongside with ... to build and maintain healthy relationships and partnerships.
4. To provide opportunities to meet other Christian single adults and encourage and cultivate God-honoring relationships.
I would like you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the Lord's affairs—how he can please the Lord. ~ 1 Cor 7:32
Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you. He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun. Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. ~ Psalm 37:4-7a

About BAF Singles
The Singles group here at Bay Area Fellowship is like a big family.
In a large church of over 7,500 in attendance every weekend at all of our campuses, & over 40% of those being singles (3,000 plus!), we stay connected with each other through our HomeTeams Ministry (small groups that meet every week throughout the city). It is here that deep, personal relationships are formed and where we explore & grow in God's Word together as we study topics relevant to singles. We all come together frequently on outreach projects to serve our community, and at several social events each year. We always have a great time, & anyone in the community is welcome to attend our events.
Our mission statement tab outlines our specific goals, but in a nutshell BAF Singles live with a single purpose: to honor & glorify Christ in all that we do... To be the light of our world... To be His hands & feet as we live this abundant life He has called us to!
